WHAT IS EAR CONING?

Ear coning, contrary to popular belief, is NOT a “New Age” ritual.  This healing process has been used for thousands of year by ancient cultures that celebrated the wondrous connection between the body, mind and spirit.  Some cultures that sued this process were India, China, Tibet, Sumeria, Egypt, Atlantis, Lemuria, as well as many others.  Native Americans used dried cornhusks and rolled them up to clean the ears and “smudge” the body.  “Smudging” is a Native American tradition, which is believed to rid the aura and physical surroundings of negative energy.

The candles are made of strips of unbleached cotton muslin dipped into a mixture of beeswax, liquid herbs, flower essences, essential oils and crystal essences (NOT all ear candles are made this way).  The strips are rolled in a spiral fashion and left to harden.  When coning, the cone is gently place on the ear canal, lit on the opposite end and burned to create smoke containing spiral energy into the ear canal.  By the way, German medical students are taught Ear Candling as a viable remedy.  I’ve also personally candled many doctors and nurses over the 15 years I’ve been an Ear Coning Specialist.

Many people question what exactly comes out of the coning.  You will see wax and a powdery substance, either white or yellow in color.  The powdery substance is mostly candida.  Candida in the ear causes itching inside the ear, symptoms of arthritis in the neck, shoulders, elbows, and hands and feelings of numbness in these areas.  Parasites cause symptoms ranging from hypoglycemia, diabetes, heart problems, arthritis, irrationality and emotional instability (over taxation of adrenal and endocrine system), enzyme function impairments, hyperactivity in children and learning and thinking impairment.

When the nerve endings are blocked from picking up stimulus by either fungus or yeast growth, vibrational energy frequencies cannot be transmitted through the nerve endings.  Yeast and fungus can be considered parasites as well as the more common worms.

THE WAY EAR CONING WORKS

The spiral of the cone draws out the debris.  Smoke goes into the ear.  Excess earwax is osmotically drawn through the eardrum into the cone.  It’s that simple.  This is very soothing, relaxing and non-invasive.  At no point does the tip of the cone in the ear get hot to the touch.

HOW OFTEN EAR CANDLING CAN BE DONE

This is a healing process.  Just having one coning will not complete the process; therefore will not be as thorough.  I suggest 3 conings (for some people, especially older ones, this may be more than 3—it depends on the individual.  I say 3 conings because fro most people, this number of conings seems to be the completion of the process.  You may do a coning 3 to 7 days apart—for as many as 3 weeks.  This completes the process for that particular healing.  If the person needs more than 3 conings, continue this 3 (number of completion) process until it feels complete.  I have done as many as 12 conings on individuals (usually those getting over a life-threatening illness or very old, with lots of wax and candida).  NORMAL EAR WAX REPLACES ITSELF WITHIN 24 HOURS.  After the entire process is completed, you may cone the person every 6 months (this is generally speaking, again, it depends on the individual—some people need to be coned every 3 months or so, if they have chronic problems).  Muscle testing (kinesiology) can be used to determine how many conings are needed and when you have completed your process.

WHAT CONING DOES PHYSICALLY

This starts a cleansing process, which is normal.  You may feel increased pressure in the ears, fluid in the ears, movement or inflammation of the lymphatic system.  Your body is cleansing—allow it!!  Cranial fluids are being realigned.  You may feel improvements in sight, color perception, balance, smell and taste.  This is due to subtle changes in energy flow.  (If the pressure reaches a point of distracting discomfort, a follow-up coning should be done as soon as possible, as a strong movement has begun which needs completion).  Also, I have found when starting to come down with sinus, colds, sore throats to get a coning right away—this usually relieves all symptoms in 24 hours, if not, the cold is a very mild one.

I hope this information is helpful to you, and that you love the coning experience as my clients and I do!
